What we did today (Up-int / 5th April)

Hi everybody,

Today,

1. We talked about countable/uncountable (mass) nouns and saw that the important thing is the context.

glass/glasses   —> countable

But when the glass is broken, it is uncountable

2. We read the article “The Ten Commandments of cell phone etiquette”.

3. Miguel gave us some words from an article and we tried to guess the content of the article.

   a. reading      b. word conenctions   c. vocabulary

4. We listened an audio file.

about “sugar”

Today we have learned that if the word “sugar ” is plural or singular and we all agreed that it is plural . So we may easily say “sugars”

But the important thing here is the idea…
